Base64 Encoder

Encode UTF-8 text as Base64 or decode it back to text in your browser. Supports emoji and non-Latin scripts.

Processed on your device

Inputs are cleared when you switch tools. Downloaded files and copied results stay where you save them.

About Base64 Encoder

Inspect or create Base64-encoded text values while debugging payloads, fixtures and text-based integrations.

How to use it

  1. Choose Text → Base64 or Base64 → text.
  2. Paste your text or Base64 value into the input.
  3. Run the tool, then copy or download the converted text.

Good to know

  • Base64 is an encoding, not encryption, and does not keep secrets private.
  • This tool handles UTF-8 text using standard Base64. Binary files and the URL-safe Base64 alphabet are not supported. Invalid UTF-8 is rejected.

Your tool input is processed in this browser and is not uploaded by the application. JavaScript is required to run the tool.

YOUR DATA

Local by design.

These tools process text and images in your browser. The application does not send your tool inputs or selected files to a server, and no analytics have been added.

The website host receives ordinary web-request information when you load the site.

Favorite tool IDs and your desktop sidebar preference are saved in local storage on this browser. Input and output are held in memory and cleared when you switch tools or reload. Your clipboard and downloaded files are outside the site and are not cleared by it.

Use a current browser with JavaScript enabled. The site is not packaged for offline installation.
